Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned QA engineer with experience working with complex systems from a quality assurance perspective to join us.

The focus of this role is to ensure high-quality implementation of features through close collaboration with business partners and developers. You will be embedded in the team, handling all aspects of quality assurance, from code reviews to validating business requirements. You will work with product owners to encode acceptance criteria in Gherkin.

You will work with a modern stack based on Golang, infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, serving customers globally with high availability and low latency.

Our development methodology is agile, using Behavior Driven Development and Domain Driven Design principles, with a focus on frequent releases via feature branches, toggles, and continuous deployment.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Analyze business requirements from a QA perspective and provide feedback for testability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and improve quality early in the SDLC.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and refine acceptance criteria.
• Write comprehensive test plans and test cases using Gherkin syntax for BDD.
• Develop and maintain automated acceptance tests, preferably using Playwright.
• Contribute to QA documentation, user guides, and testing procedures.
• Support resolution of production issues by identifying root causes and creating regression tests.
• Work with developers to ensure sufficient unit and integration test coverage.
• Contribute to manual testing efforts as needed during exploratory or pre-release phases.

• Proficiency in Typescript and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: familiarity with payment systems and transactional workflows.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, remote environment.
