Job description

A senior-level quality assurance professional responsible for creating comprehensive end-to-end test scripts and cases. The ideal candidate will independently design, build, test, and deploy test automation solutions to evaluate functionality, performance, reliability, stability, compliance, and compatibility with legacy and external systems.

Responsibilities

Obtain or maintain Public Trust security clearance

Design, write, and execute automated tests using scripting for Azure DevOps platform

Strategically prioritize and maximize test coverage for critical system features

Develop and implement test scenario execution plans

Create thorough documentation for automated processes including test plans, procedures, and cases

Design and document automation test reports

Construct test automation frameworks for UI and REST API Web Service Endpoint.

Document and track bugs in appropriate tracking systems

Monitor QA metrics throughout the Software Development Life Cycle in Azure DevOps

Configure Continuous Integration within Azure DevOps Environment

Perform exploratory testing to assess functionality from customer perspective

Qualifications

7+ Years experience building automation frameworks

Proficiency with nUnit, Selenium, and Visual Studio automation tools

Ability to suggest framework enhancements for improved scripting capabilities

Strong analytical skills to evaluate bug reports, prioritize testing needs, and streamline application functions

Exceptional attention to detail for testing web applications

Excellent verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with engineering teams

Nice to have

Certifications in software testing like ISTQB or CSTE to enhance testing expertise

Understanding of security testing concepts and tools to ensure robust software security measures

Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI for end-to-end testing scenarios

Ability to mentor junior team members and share testing best practices for skill development

Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle

Its a Remote position anywhere in US
