Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors District is seeking a Senior Project QA Auditor to plan and conduct audits ensuring compliance with the QMS, project requirements, and relevant standards. The role identifies risks, supports corrective actions, and enhances quality performance across diverse disciplines.

Responsibilities include auditing field work, coordinating with Project Management, and promoting standardization of quality templates, forms, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related systems-based fields with strict quality control.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in varying conditions.
• Willingness/ability to travel 35–50% for assessments.
• Proficiency with computer-based technology and data handling.
• Occasionally lift and carry items up to 20 pounds.
• Move around confined and uneven work areas.

Responsibilities

• Possess thorough knowledge of the district quality program, QMS, ASME QC Manual, and project procedures.
• Understand audit and assessment processes and scoring rubric.
• Develop audit strategies across disciplines to verify QMS compliance.
• Review audit plans with Project Management and coordinate on-site quality issues.
• Monitor QMS implementation through audits; document findings and drive corrective actions.
• Analyze trends to identify quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support mentoring and training to elevate site personnel on quality practices.
• Coordinate staffing and share resources with other districts as needed.
