Job summary

Twia-2 in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior QA Analyst to ensure the quality of application software before it goes into production and to contribute to the IT department's overall direction.

You will design test plans, execute tests, report defects, and collaborate with project management, developers and customers in both waterfall and agile environments. Strong MS SQL skills and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree, preferably in CS, engineering or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of hands-on experience as a software quality assurance analyst.
• Familiarity with Microsoft-based products and technologies
• Working knowledge of MS SQL

Responsibilities

• Evaluate use cases/software requirements to create test plans, test cases, execute tests, document results and report bugs.
• Organize results of testing and provide reports to management.
• Collaborate with project management, developers, and customers to understand goals of projects and testing needs.
• Work with waterfall and agile software development and test methodologies.
• Lead projects and mentor QA testers/analysts.
• Create and maintain test matrices, test plans and testing status reports to validate system changes.
• Create Test Closure reports.
