Job summary

The MIL Corporation in Charleston, SC is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to independently analyze complex software applications, design and execute both automated and manual tests, and verify system functionality against requirements. The Senior Analyst will lead QA across the SDLC, communicate defects and risks, and ensure timely, high-quality releases.

This on-site role requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance and citizenship; travel is not indicated.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with the software development lifecycle (analysis/design, development, testing, implementation, support).
• Expertise with MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Quality Assurance experience with automated testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business and system requirements to identify testable conditions, risks, and edge cases; develop testing approaches.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute automated and manual test suites, document results, and communicate defects and quality risks.
• Perform impact analysis to assess how changes affect functionality and integrations.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Review test plans and coverage with clients and stakeholders for alignment with processes.
• Translate requirements into test scenarios validating functional and non-functional behavior.
• Serve as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders on quality objectives.
• Provide subject matter expertise on testing methodologies and automation frameworks.
• Report testing status, risks, and quality metrics across lifecycle milestones.
