Job summary

Kforce Inc. is assisting a client in Tempe, AZ by seeking a QA Analyst to validate that software applications meet business, functional and technical requirements before release.

The role focuses on reliability, security and fitness for purpose through structured testing and defect identification. You will create test plans and cases, execute functional and regression testing, log defects, and ensure coverage and release readiness while applying Agile methods in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience testing enterprise software solutions.
• Experience using API testing tools (i.e., Postman, REST clients)
• Strong nice-to-have experience with SQL and data validation
• Proven experience in the use of Microsoft Azure DevOps (or Atlassian Jira)
• Good understanding of Agile methodology including experience with Scrum methods and processes
• Solid understanding of different testing methodologies (i.e., black-box, white-box, regression, smoke, UAT)
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently and utilize critical thinking skills as required

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects through resolution
• Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
• Provide clear, reproducible defect documentation
• Enforce QA standards, test coverage, and release readiness criteria
