Job summary

Verisk is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join our hybrid Jersey City team. You will lead test analysis, develop automated scripts for websites, APIs, and infrastructure, and perform manual testing alongside automated testing in an Agile environment.

You will validate AI-driven solutions, drive regression automation, and mentor junior testers while collaborating with business analysts and product owners on migrations readiness. Experience with Selenium, REST, and CI/CD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in software development/testing within a team.
• 2–3 years UI automation with Selenium WebDriver and Python/Java/C#.
• 2–3 years API testing with RESTful services and Python/Java.
• 2–3 years performance testing with JMeter.
• Strong programming in Python/Java/C# and .NET.
• Experience with CI/CD and related tooling.
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis for test case and script development for websites, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Perform hands-on manual testing and script automated tests to ensure quality.
• Test AI-driven solutions, automate regression tests, and ensure performance.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners on migrations readiness.
• Provide technical guidance to junior testers and team members.
