Senior QA Analyst - Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. - Monett, MO

Job Duties:

1. Execute and create test plans and clear, concise scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products.
2. Define comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing.
3. Schedule and perform functional, integration, regression, and release testing.
4. Submit errors and issues to development for correction, and retest once errors have been corrected.
5. Report test results and status as appropriate.
6. Track defects and causal analyses to closure.
7. Act independently to review and certify test results of other analysts and testers.
8. Review and provide feedback on requirements, design, or scope documents.
9. Help set standards for test design.
10. Interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and development teams to identify and refine test requirements.
11. Coordinate and perform highly complex testing projects from initiation through delivery.
12. Ensure testing projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
13. Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments to meet targets and requirements.
14. Support and advocate established testing procedures and contribute to their development.
15. Prepare test plans and scripts for software corrections and enhancements.
16. Review test plans and reports as needed.
17. Plan, coordinate, and report on test activities of team members.
18. Perform test reviews and develop test design frameworks.
19. Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends, sharing relevant information with the QA team.
20. Assist with automated scripts and provide education and training related to software enhancements and corrections.
21. Lead training, alpha and beta testing, and documentation updates or corrections.
22. Cross-train and mentor less experienced QA team members.
23. Create and maintain test libraries, databases, and environments.
24. Assist with software changes for documentation and testing purposes.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering, MIS, Computer Applications, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 6 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or related occupation.
3. 3 years of experience with SQL, Quality Center, and ALM, including automation, functional, regression, and performance testing; Web Services; and experience in banking/financial services or fintech industry.
4. 100% telecommuting role; may work from anywhere inside the U.S. - reports to company headquarters in Monett, MO.
5. Must have unrestricted legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
