Senior Python Tech Lead - Software Engineering & AI

Are you an experienced technology leader with a passion for both modern software engineering and Artificial Intelligence? We're seeking a Senior Tech Lead - Software Engineering & AI to drive the development of enterprise-scale digital products that combine robust engineering practices with cutting-edge AI and Generative AI capabilities.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll shape technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and deliver scalable AI-enabled solutions that solve complex business challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of production-grade software products incorporating AI and Generative AI capabilities.
• Drive engineering excellence across architecture, APIs, cloud-native platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational support.
• Partner with infrastructure, platform, data engineering, and DevSecOps teams to improve scalability, security, resilience, and engineering efficiency.
• Define technical direction for software engineering and AI initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery and governance standards.
• Mentor software and AI engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, architecture, and responsible AI implementation.
• Establish standards for software quality, model evaluation, performance, reliability, and compliance.
• Identify and deliver high-value AI, GenAI, and intelligent automation opportunities across the business.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and delivery roadmaps.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and drive adoption of innovative engineering and AI practices.

Required Experience

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field.

8+ years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions and AI/ML-enabled products.

Strong hands-on development experience with technologies such as:

• Python
• Java
• APIs & Microservices
• Cloud-Native Platforms

Experience designing, deploying, and supporting applications on Kubernetes and containerized environments.

Deep understanding of:

• Software Architecture & System Design
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• CI/CD & DevOps Methodologies
• Security & Reliability Engineering

Practical experience with:

• Generative AI
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of MLOps, DevSecOps, and Observability frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence technology strategy and drive innovation across multiple business functions.
