Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to contribute to Python/PySpark/AWS driven platforms within Payments Trust and Safety in Tampa, FL. The role emphasizes secure production code, scalable design, and data-driven improvements across enterprise systems.

You will design, implement, test, and operate software with a focus on reliability, security, and collaboration in a fast-paced agile environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
• Writes secure and high-quality code using Python 3 and PySpark with limited guidance.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large data sets to inform decisions.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Knowledge of technologies in cloud, AI, ML, or related areas.
