Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Python Developer to design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade Python systems. This remote, full-time role focuses on robust, secure applications operating in distributed production environments across the U.S.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of Python experience and strong software architecture skills. You will collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams, drive code quality, and contribute to engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Ten or more years of applied Python development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience building and maintaining large-scale production applications with uptime requirements.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase) including tuning and design.
• Solid understanding of the full SDLC (requirements, design, build, test, release, support).
• Proven experience across system design, application development, testing, and ops support.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and efficient design trade-offs.
• Experience debugging enterprise applications in production and improving reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end design, development, and troubleshooting for complex enterprise Python apps.
• Develop secure, production‑ready Python code for distributed systems with observability.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts adhering to enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize data processing for large datasets (batch and real‑time).
• Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams to translate requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Participate in Agile, CI/CD with testing, rollback, and monitoring strategies.
• Support incident response and post‑mortem reviews to improve stability.
