Job summary

ICBD Holdings, LLC. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain Python-based services and data pipelines, including LLM-powered features. You will work across Databricks and Postgres, coach engineers, and help define system architecture.

You will translate business requirements into reliable software solutions, ensure security and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years in professional software development with Python.
• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL with performance tuning.
• Experience building LLM-based applications and prompt design.
• Hands-on with Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and testing.
• Ability to mentor engineers and communicate clearly across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Python services and data pipelines.
• Lead the development of LLM-powered features and evaluation suites.
• Architect data models, Postgres schemas, and query optimizations.
• Build and optimize Databricks workloads and Unity Catalog governance.
• Collaborate with product, IT, data, and engineering teams to deliver solutions.
• Provide code reviews, set standards, and improve development practices.
