Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Python Developer for a contract-to-hire role with a top investment bank in Jersey City, NJ. You will contribute to core Python development, ETL pipelines, and data platform work.

Responsibilities include building scalable, production-grade applications with REST APIs, multithreading, and comprehensive testing using PyTest/Unittest. You will work with SQL/NoSQL databases and data analytics tools in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Python development (Python 3.x).
• Strong OOP, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade applications.
• Multithreading, multiprocessing, and asynchronous programming.
• REST API development and testing with PyTest/Unittest.
• ETL/ELT pipeline design and development.
• Proficient SQL (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cassandra/Redis).

Responsibilities

• Develop Python applications for core platform.
• Design and maintain enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and data platforms.
