Job summary

Victory delivers high-quality software to clients across diverse domains and seeks a Senior Python Engineer to build robust serverless applications on AWS. You will work to deploy scalable microservices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and shape architecture for security and high availability.

Successful candidates will have 5+ years of software experience, including Python and RESTful APIs, plus a proactive, well-documented approach to design and delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with at least 2 years in Python.
• Experience designing, developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience deploying serverless apps on AWS.
• Strong collaboration and communication within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, maintainable code for serverless applications on AWS.
• Utilize the Serverless Framework to build and deploy microservices that are efficient and scalable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Lead architectural discussions to ensure secure, scalable cloud deployments.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability; address issues.
• Coordinate with designers to align visuals with implementation.
