JobCubby, on behalf of a partner, seeks a Middle to Senior Python Developer in the United States to build high-performance backend systems in a fast-paced iGaming environment.

You will work with a modern Python stack to deliver new features, scalable services, and integrations with payment methods and external data providers, focusing on reliability.

This role blends hands-on coding with architectural decisions and meaningful ownership, with opportunities for growth as the business scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and Django.
• Experience designing and developing highly loaded, scalable systems.
• Proficient English and collaboration in an international environment.
• Experience in iGaming or sports betting industry.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement efficient solutions.
• Independent, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

Responsibilities

• Make architectural and technical decisions for backend products and services.
• Design, develop, test reliable backend solutions using Python and Django.
• Build features and integrations with payment methods and external data providers.
• Develop automated communication systems and risk management capabilities.
• Monitor production systems for stability and reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.
• Own assigned tasks from development to delivery.
