Digis seeks a motivated and skilled Senior Python Engineer to join our remote team.

About the Project:
This next-generation talent platform allows top talent to suggest their peers and friends for vacant positions. The Platform is outpacing technical recruiting by leveraging the power of professional networks and domain expertise.
Project’s Country: USA. Work in the Ukrainian time zone.
Team: 8 people, including BE, ML, BA, and Designer.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with Python
• 2 years of experience with the FastAPI framework
• 1 year of experience with PostgreSQL
• Any experience with ETL Pipelines (data ingestion, transformation, and processing)
• English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable APIs using FastAPI and asyncio for financial data processing.
• Implement real-time WebSockets for live data updates and user interactions.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines for ingesting and processing accounting and payment data.
• Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries to support multi-tenancy and large datasets.
• Improve application performance through profiling, tuning, and load testing.
• Containerize applications using Docker and contribute to Kubernetes deployments.
• Ensure security best practices, including JWT authentication and Supabase integration.
