Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Python Developer in Mississauga, Ontario, with hybrid work (2–3 days onsite/week). You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Python applications, focusing on RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

The role requires strong Python, FastAPI/Flask experience, and collaboration across teams. You will contribute to SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, security practices, and observability, while writing clean, maintainable code

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in Python development.
• Experience with FastAPI/Flask and REST APIs.
• Experience with Linux, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC from requirements analysis to deployment and support.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automation, monitoring, logging, and observability.
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other tech teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Write clean, secure code following coding standards and governance.
