Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Python Developer in Mississauga, Ontario, with hybrid work (2–3 days onsite/week). You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Python applications, focusing on RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

The role requires strong Python, FastAPI/Flask experience, and collaboration across teams. You will contribute to SDLC processes, CI/CD pipelines, security practices, and observability, while writing clean, maintainable code

Senior Python Developer

Mississauga, Ontario Canada

Fulltime/permanent

Hybrid 2 to 3 days onsite per week

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python-based applications.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications.

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and support.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while implementing automation, monitoring, logging, and application observability practices.

• Diagnose and resolve application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance and reliability.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, software engineers, architects, and other technology teams to deliver effective technical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code while following established coding standards, security practices, and enterprise governance requirements.

• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or similar Python web frameworks.

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
