Job summary

Proxify seeks a Senior Python Developer with deep Flask expertise to design, maintain, and scale web applications and backend systems for our high-growth clients. You will take ownership of modular Flask architectures, building lightweight, robust APIs and maintaining core business logic across production environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production experience with Flask and Python (3.10+).
• 5+ years building enterprise backend systems and RESTful services.
• Relational databases knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with migrations via SQLAlchemy/Alembic.
• Redis for session management and caching; Celery for async tasks with Redis/RabbitMQ.
• Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Web security best practices and automated testing with pytest.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs and Flask backend architectures.
• Audit and optimize DB queries, responses, and caching for low latency.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and internal microservices with secure webhooks.
• Maintain high test coverage with pytest; perform code reviews and enforce auth/security.
• Collaborate with infra to containerize apps and streamline deployments.
