Job summary

You'll design ETL pipelines, validate data quality, and deliver dashboards for frontline stakeholders in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Python development experience, preferably in Capital Markets or Financial Services.
• Strong Python skills with scalable data processing and reporting solutions.
• Experience with Equities Trading data, market data, transaction data, and trade reporting systems.
• Proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and SQLAlchemy for data analysis.
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise.
• Understanding of equities trading lifecycle and related processes.
• Experience creating automated reporting, dashboards, analytics for stakeholders.
• Data validation, reconciliation and data quality across trading/reporting platforms.
• ETL, data automation, workflow optimization.
• Experience with large enterprise datasets.
• Agile development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based solutions for Equities Trading analytics and reporting.
• Design automated reporting frameworks to deliver timely insights.
• Analyze trading and market datasets to transform data into reports and recommendations.
• Develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Work closely with Front Office, Trading, Operations, Risk, and Finance to gather requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation and reconciliation.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, analytics for stakeholders.
• Optimize data processing workflows through automation.
• Troubleshoot data issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; maintain documentation and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions for trading operations.
