Job summary

accel bi corporation is seeking a Senior Python Developer / Technical Specialist to design and maintain enterprise data pipelines, migrations, and BI dashboards.

This hybrid role requires strong Python/SQL skills, experience with Power BI, APIs, and data governance, and the ability to work with on-prem and cloud environments to modernize data platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on Python experience.
• 7+ years SQL and relational database experience (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or Ingres).
• 7+ years writing optimized SQL queries and analyzing performance.
• 7+ years designing and executing data-migration or data-conversion projects.
• 7+ years data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• 5+ years Power BI experience.
• 5+ years working with SOAP/REST APIs, backend architecture, and microservices.
• Experience developing or maintaining applications using the Zope application server.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python-based ETL pipelines, migration scripts, and automation workflows.
• Build and optimize data models, SQL queries, and database processes.
• Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, cloud applications, on‑premises systems, and flat files.
• Validate and reconcile datasets while maintaining data quality and integrity.
• Document data mappings, migration procedures, and technical workflows.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams on modernization initiatives.
