The role focuses on building cloud-based document-processing systems in Python, leveraging OCR and AI to automate high-volume filings while ensuring accuracy and auditability. The team works across strategy, architecture, and engineering to solve complex regulatory challenges, with a hybrid work setup based in the Washington, DC metro area.

Formación

• 4+ years of software development experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience building document-processing systems in the cloud, from OCR through extraction.
• Experience with data validation, including exact and fuzzy matching.
• Experience building APIs and SQL that move documents to a decision.
• Proficiency in writing, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Turn a manual, document-heavy intake process into a pipeline that reads, understands, and routes submissions.
• Build document-intelligence services using OCR and cloud AI to extract structure and meaning at scale.
• Add confidence scoring and the decision logic that determines what happens to each document next.
• Design human-review workflows that catch what the machine should not decide alone.
• Deliver a working document pipeline moving filings from submission to decision with auditability.
