Job summary

Premier Inn Hotels LLC (UAE) seeks a Senior Python Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services. You will work with Python, API development, and AWS cloud-native technologies to deliver robust microservices and secure infrastructure.

The role emphasizes REST APIs, Docker-based deployments, Terraform/CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and strong observability through monitoring and logging. Local Plano, TX candidates are preferred for on-site work.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong AWS experience with several services listed (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, S3, etc.).
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Terraform and/or CloudFormation experience.
• Experienced developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, VPC and cloud security.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, alerting.
