Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer – Python to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade Python systems in a 100% remote role within the Continental United States.

You will contribute to data-intensive services, automation platforms, and distributed architectures, collaborating with product, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Python development in enterprise environments.
• Experience with large-scale production apps requiring high uptime.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Sybase).
• Knowledge of SDLC, automated testing, and operational support.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to collaborate with product, data, and infra teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end design and development for complex Python applications.
• Develop secure, production-ready Python code for distributed systems.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts in line with enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize data processing for large datasets.
• Gather and analyze data to drive improvements in products and reliability.
• Create reporting and dashboards to support operational insights.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve coding standards and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in Agile processes and CI/CD with testing and monitoring.
