Job summary

The Judge Group in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Python Developer to own backend design, API development, data pipelines, and AWS integration in a 1+ year hybrid contract. You will build high-throughput Python services and interactive dashboards with React/Dash, leveraging NumPy and Pandas for data analytics.

With 7+ years of experience, you will collaborate across software, data science, and product teams, maintain documentation, and participate in an in-person interview on Day 1.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive professional software engineering experience.
• Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience building production web applications with FastAPI.
• Experience deploying and managing AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, ECS).
• Frontend integration with React and/or Dash.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy robust backend applications and microservices using Python.
• Build high-performance, asynchronous RESTful APIs and web services with FastAPI.
• Process, clean, and analyze complex datasets with NumPy and Pandas at scale.
• Design and implement serverless cloud architectures and data pipelines using AWS services.
