Job summary

You will build a distributed compute grid on AWS/GCP, orchestrate tasks with Docker and Kubernetes, and work with quants, trading, and risk teams to ensure fast, compliant valuations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience designing and running massive-scale compute grids.
• Expert-level experience with AWS or GCP, including batch, container, and serverless offerings.
• Deep expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Strong Python programming skills in high-performance computing contexts.
• Experience in finance with Monte Carlo, VaR, or XVA pricing is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage a massive-scale distributed compute grid on public clouds for pricing models.
• Design orchestration to distribute millions of tasks across CPU/GPU cores.
• Deploy and version control a library of pricing models for distributed execution.
• Monitor and optimize performance, cost, and resource usage of the cloud grid.
• Collaborate with quantitative teams to integrate pricing models into the production grid.
• Engineer data logistics to ensure market and trade data is available for every run.
• Ensure pricing engine is highly available and meets recovery objectives.
