Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable REST APIs and backend services.

• Define API standards, architecture, request/response structures, and error handling.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API keys, and RBAC.
• Apply authentication, authorization, rate limiting, throttling, and other API security controls.
• Develop and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Integrate APIs with databases, cloud services, third‑party applications, and enterprise systems.
• Perform API testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, security, and DevOps teams.
• Follow API governance, versioning, lifecycle management, and security best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high‑quality, maintainable Python code.

We are looking for an experienced API Developer / API Engineer with strong expertise in API design, API security, and Python development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, secure, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and integrations for enterprise applications.
