Job summary

OSC EdgeTech, LLC is seeking a Senior Python Developer to advance Optica Security, a DISA APL-listed platform. You will design Python-based scanners, integrate AI models, and drive automated cybersecurity workflows across federated environments.

The role requires experience in security automation, AI/ML integration, and working with DISA STIGs. You will mentor engineers, contribute to architecture, and ensure delivery of high-assurance capabilities for federal customers.

Qualifications

• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with security automation and AI-enabled software.
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs and security compliance.
• Ability to design scalable scanner capabilities for large networks.
• Experience integrating local and cloud AI models.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and optimize Python-based scanning capabilities.
• Build AI-enabled product features with local/self-hosted and cloud models.
• Ingest, interpret, and validate DISA STIGs and security content.
• Automate complex workflows with AI and ensure measurable outcomes.
• Lead architecture reviews, code quality, and testing practices.
