Job summary

OSC EdgeTech, LLC is seeking a Senior Python Developer (AI/ML) to advance Optica Security, a DISA APL-listed platform. The role concentrates on Python-based security automation and AI-enabled software across federated networks.

The position requires designing scalable scanners, integrating local and cloud AI models, and delivering production-grade solutions within government-compliant environments. Strong Python and security experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Eight+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Experience with DoD or restricted networks preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Python-based scanning capabilities at scale.
• Develop AI-enabled capabilities using local and cloud models.
• Ingest, interpret, and map DISA STIGs with AI-assisted workflows.
• Collaborate on architecture, testing, and production support.
