Job summary

Proxify is seeking a Senior Python AI Engineer to design and develop backend systems and APIs for AI-powered applications. You will build scalable LLM-based workflows, collaborate across data scientists, PMs, and frontend teams, and ensure performance and cost optimization in production environments.

The role requires 5+ years in Python, experience with DL frameworks, LLMs, and RAG pipelines, plus strong API design skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Python software engineering, with backend focus.
• Experience designing and building scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Experience with AI/ML workflows, LLMs, and RAG pipelines.
• Proficient in modern Python frameworks and DL libraries.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems and APIs for AI-powered applications.
• Build and optimize LLM-based workflows, including chatbots and copilots.
• Implement RAG architectures using vector databases and document pipelines.
• Integrate and orchestrate cloud-hosted foundation models.
• Collaborate with data scientists, PMs, and frontend developers to deliver AI products.
• Ensure performance, scalability, and cost optimization in production.
