Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. seeks a Senior Equipment Engineer to own PVD/Thin Film manufacturing equipment in a high-volume fab.

You will drive uptime, yield, and tool performance while collaborating with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities teams. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, strong troubleshooting skills, and a track record of continuous improvement using data-driven methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment engineering or field service.
• Strong knowledge of wafer fabrication and semiconductor operations.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and improving manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on with PVD/Thin Film equipment platforms (Applied Materials/Novellus).
• Familiarity with SPC, FDC, Process Control Systems, RCA, and Lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned PVD/Thin Film equipment and drive uptime and performance improvements.
• Lead installation, qualification, and startup of new tools.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment issues to maximize yield and uptime.
• Develop preventive maintenance to boost reliability and reduce excursions.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional engineering and continuous improvement teams.
