Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant technical experience with or without a Development Engineer I track, per the education path.
• Bachelor degree with 5 years of relevant technical experience or 2 years as Development Engineer I.
• Masters with 3 years relevant experience or 2 years as Development Engineer I.
• Ph.D. in engineering with no prior work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, parametrize, and verify models that describe defect chemistry and mass transport during fabrication and operation.
• Assess durability of device design and packaging against moisture ingress, corrosion, and abnormal operating conditions.
• Use models to optimize device architecture and fabrication processes for performance and reliability.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to management on changes to improve device performance.
