Job summary

Silicon Ranch in Tullahoma, TN, is seeking an experienced Utility Scale Solar PV Operations and Maintenance Area Lead III to oversee maintenance across designated facilities. You will lead preventive and corrective tasks on PV systems, UPS, SCADA, substations, and MV/HV/OHE components, ensuring reliability and safety on-site.

Qualifications

• Advanced skills with computers and electronic equipment.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA70E, and OSHA standards.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• OSHA 30 and CPR/BLS must be obtained within 4 weeks of employment.
• State electrical license or NABCEP certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead scheduled preventive maintenance at each facility including PV system, UPS, SCADA, substation, and MV/HV/OHE systems.
• Perform and lead corrective maintenance tasks, both scheduled and unscheduled, at each facility.
• Respond to directives for emergency dispatches for critical systems as directed.
• Log all work performed via the Silicon Ranch CMMS platform.
• Perform electrical testing using IV Curve Tracers, Power Quality Meters, Insulation Resistance Testers, Multimeters, etc.
• Assist management with field investigations to support predictive analytics, root cause analysis, and serial defect reports.
• Assist in creating and reviewing preventative and corrective maintenance SOPs, schedules, and checklists.
• Provide site access to third party contractors and as directed.
• Attend internal and external training sessions as directed.
• Provide daily leadership, mentoring, and training to direct reports in the defined area of operations.
