Job summary

Mindlance is seeking a Microsoft Purview Engineer to support the implementation and expansion of Purview capabilities within an enterprise cybersecurity and data governance environment. Responsibilities include implementing Purview, DLP, and Compliance Center, enabling data governance, scanning, discovery, and classification, and supporting Fabric integration.

You will translate requirements into practical Purview solutions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with security, data, and GRC

Qualifications

Hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview in an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of Purview DLP and Microsoft Compliance Center.
Experience with data governance, scanning, discovery, and classification.

Responsibilities

Implement and configure Microsoft Purview, including DLP and Compliance Center capabilities.
Support data governance, data discovery, scanning, classification, and data quality initiatives.
Assist with Microsoft Fabric implementation and data governance use cases.
Translate business and security requirements into practical Purview solutions without over-engineering.
Troubleshoot and remediate implementation issues.
Collaborate with cybersecurity, engineering, data, compliance, and GRC teams.
Create configuration documentation, runbooks, and security/GRC documentation.
Support related security and detection use cases involving Microsoft Sentinel, where applicable.
