Job summary

Grifols, S.A in Clayton, NC is seeking a Sr. Supervisor Manufacturing - Purification to oversee a manufacturing operation and/or technical team. You will execute high-complexity assignments and develop solutions to meet departmental and business objectives within cGMP and safety standards.

You will lead production planning, coordinate with maintenance, quality, and documentation teams, and drive continuous improvement while managing budgets and approvals for area responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus 5 years of proven technical/project management and leadership experience in a FDA, USDA environment.
• Masters degree plus 3 years of proven technical/project management and leadership experience in a FDA, USDA environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities in the production plan for an assigned area.
• Serve as SME with partner groups (Maintenance, Quality, Tech Doc Support) and address complex process deviations and documentation errors.
• Lead planning and organization of specific job assignments for an area in accordance with cGMP and production schedule.
• Oversee Training and Documentation Manufacturing function.
• Manage direct reports at the Supervisor and Tech Support level.
• Lead CI (continuous improvement) initiatives to drive production performance.
• Provide input on budget planning for area of responsibility.
• Authorize approved expenditures (POs, invoices).
• Responsible for HES and quality compliance.
• Review, author and execute ETPs as required; provide input on new projects.
• Participate in employee disciplinary outcomes with Senior management.
• Promote awareness of goals, policies and procedures.
