Job summary

Toyota Tsusho America is seeking a procurement professional to manage day-to-day purchasing for designated categories and plants. You will handle RFQs, vendor onboarding, and maintain sourcing data, while mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities include issuing RFQs, analyzing quotes, expediting material flow, and maintaining master data. A strong ERP/e-procurement background and 4–6+ years of experience are required, with an Associates in Supply Chain or related

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of progressive purchasing/procurement operations experience.
• Proven ERP/e-procurement super-user experience with reporting capability.
• Associates Degree in Supply Chain or related field; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing support for assigned categories, plants, or business units.
• Handle RFQ events, vendor onboarding, and maintenance of sourcing lists and data.
• Prepare comprehensive RFQs/bid tabs and maintain documentation logs.
• Mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and escalate high-risk matters.
• Create and issue RFQs daily; compare quotes and develop bid tabs.
• Monitor open RFQs, expedite material flow, and coordinate substitutions.
• Maintain item/vendor master data including lead times and pricing.
