Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Purchasing Manager, Retail Door Shops to oversee regional inventory, replenishment, forecasting, and reporting. You will optimize asset returns through vendor negotiations and ensure service levels across multiple locations.

The role requires coordinating with sales and operations, mentoring a buyers team, and supporting SAP initiatives. Travel up to 25% is expected in a dynamic millwork environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional inventory for Retail Door Shop locations.
• Manage replenishment, forecasting, inventory accuracy and reporting of purchasing metrics.
• Optimize return on assets through vendor selection and negotiations.
• Ensure in-stock levels and service levels across the region.
• Lead a team of buyers and mentor staff.
• Support SAP implementation as a Super User.
