Job summary

KB Home is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor/Manager to lead the purchasing department for the Tempe, AZ division. You will oversee back-office functions, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations to support construction projects.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organization to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budgets. On-site work in Tempe, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or applicable work experience in a related field.
• 4–6 years of Purchasing experience in Real Estate or Homebuilding.
• 2 years of management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise purchasing back office functions and cost controls.
• Manage option costs, base costs and cost variances.
• Review and approve purchase orders and contracts.
• Coordinate with departments and manage rebates with vendors.
• Provide timely updates to management on projects and needs.
