Job summary

AFS Group is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead day-to-day procurement across 10 store locations, ensuring product availability, responsible inventory investment, and competitive costs. You will report to the Director of Purchasing, supervise staff, and coordinate vendor relationships, POs, inbound timelines, and global sourcing.

This role focuses on improving purchasing efficiency, reducing aged stock, and partnering with sales, operations, and location leaders to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years purchasing/inventory management experience.
• Flooring or building-products and international sourcing experience.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables/lookups.
• Experience with an ERP or retail system such as RFMS.
• Excellent communication and vendor management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop purchasing staff; establish expectations and accountability.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Coordinate purchasing priorities across multiple business channels.
