Job summary

Qualifications

• Five or more years of purchasing experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading people, directing work, coaching performance, and accountability.
• Experience developing purchasing procedures and coordinating with Planning, Quality, and Operations.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP purchasing processes, exception management, and inventory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily priorities for the purchasing team and ensure execution by buyers.
• Recruiting, onboarding, and developing staff with VP of Operations approval.
• Maintain escalation ownership and recovery plans for shortages and delivery issues.
• Coordinate with Planning and Program Management to align material priorities with production needs.
• Monitor purchasing reports and drive improvements in workflows and performance.
