Job summary

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Purchasing Lead in Indianapolis to optimize supplier performance, manage escalations, and drive cost and lead-time improvements. You will collaborate with the capacity, planning and procurement teams to ensure on-time delivery and strong supplier relationships.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, ERP and Power BI proficiency, and experience with supplier governance to improve OTD and inventory efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of general business experience or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Proven ability to manage Suppliers and data-driven decision making.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Supplier Performance and drive ongoing supplier optimization.
• Handle delivery/part escalations from Site Buyers.
• Negotiate PO liability with Suppliers.
• Provide demand forecast to Suppliers in collaboration with Capacity Team.
• Collaborate with tactical buyers, production planning and Value Stream.
