Job summary

XL Pro Staffing and Consulting in Las Vegas seeks a Senior Purchasing Agent to oversee purchasing and pricing to support profitability. You will procure raw materials, supplies, equipment, and services for operations, review requisitions, prepare purchase orders, and solicit bids for goods and services.

You will collaborate with leadership to implement procurement strategies, resolve supply chain issues, and ensure contract compliance while maintaining ERP data and driving cost savings across

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate (GED)
• 5+ years’ experience in international purchasing
• Experience with purchasing PCBAs and electrical components is desired
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, re-negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and vendors
• Lead evaluation and monitoring of contract performance for compliance and changes
• Leverage vendors across procurements to create cost savings
• Maintain purchasing data in the ERP
• Analyze price proposals to determine reasonable prices
• Balance cost and quality to procure best value
• Develop schedules and performance plans to meet company goals
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and policies governing purchases
• Collaborate with internal departments to communicate requirements
• Collaborate with worldwide suppliers and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned
