Job summary

Velcro is seeking a Senior Analyst to develop analytical models and dashboards that support Global Supply Chain and Purchasing. The role collaborates with Finance to track savings and cost initiatives, collects and analyzes data across regions, and drives master data governance for supplier information.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in purchasing or data analytics, proficiency with Tableau/Power BI, and ERP familiarity (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance with focus on Planning and Analysis, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of proven experience in purchasing, data analytics or related field.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel). ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard development: design, develop, and maintain purchasing dashboards for visibility into performance and value delivery.
• Savings validation: collaborate with Finance to validate purchasing savings, cost avoidance, and working capital initiatives.
• Data collection and analysis: work with purchasing teams to collect, clean, and analyze data on purchasing activities and supplier performance.
• Standardization: coordinate with regional teams to standardize data collection and reporting processes.
• Master Data Clean-Up: lead the Supplier Master Data (SMD) team to maintain accurate supplier information across ERP systems.
• Strategic support: provide data-driven insights to support purchasing strategies and plans; lead budget and planning with FP&A and Costing.
• Reporting: generate regular and ad-hoc reports; maintain KPI metrics for visibility; present findings to senior management.
• Collaboration: work with costing, plant controllers, supply chain, regional purchasing to align on goals.
