Salary: $65,529.45 - $101,656.80
Salary: $59,531.17 - $92,352.35
The Senior Purchasing Agent applies professional purchasing principles within the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, covering procurement and contracts. Responsibilities include acquiring supplies and services at competitive prices, overseeing procurement processes, preparing solicitations, and supporting ERP systems. May supervise staff and provide guidance on procedures and systems.
The Purchasing Agent II performs routine to moderately complex purchasing tasks, including preparing solicitations, reviewing acquisition methods, and processing purchase orders. Provides support for procurement activities and maintains vendor and contract records.
Responsibilities may include reviewing and preparing solicitations, managing contracts electronically, and supporting procurement policies and procedures across the organization.
Tasks involve physical effort consistent with sedentary to light work, mainly performed in an office environment.
