• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Reconcile procurement documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.
• Assign purchases to team of purchasing agents.
• Mentor team members on purchasing processes.
• Compile monthly metrics.
• Interface with Accounting personnel to investigate invoicing issues related to purchasing.

We are seeking a motivated Senior Purchasing Lead to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center. This role is essential for supporting procurement activities and ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services that support mission success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline

• 7+ years of related experience

• Working knowledge of CostPoint and NASA FAR requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities without sacrificing accuracy

• U.S. Citizenship required
