Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. is seeking a Pump Production Supervisor to lead onsite production activities in San Diego, overseeing planning, scheduling, and adherence to cGMP standards.

You will supervise manufacturing personnel, drive process improvements, and ensure documentation and quality controls are maintained. The role requires 5 years in instrumentation or manufacturing, leadership experience, and proficiency with ERP and assembly tooling.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite required.
• Strong knowledge and application of principles outlined in Quality System Regulations (QSRs/GMPs).
• Proficient in the use of common assembly tooling.
• Able to effectively exchange or present factual information in both written and verbal communications.
• Skilled at effectively leading a cooperative team effort and organizing resources to achieve team goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the pump production and coordinates production planning, scheduling, and labor variance controls.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP regulations and audits readiness.
• Develops and implements programs to improve manufacturing output and quality.
• Tracks performance metrics and manages staff scheduling, training, and resource needs.
• Collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering on production issues for rapid resolution.
