About the Senior Publisher Development Director role:

After enjoying significant success, Onetag is now scaling internationally in both Europe and the US and is now looking to hire a Senior Publisher Development Director in New York.

Reporting to our SVP, Global Supply (based in London), the Senior Publisher Development Director will be focused on driving adoption of Onetag’s platform with Tier 1 and Tier 2 publishers, publisher network and broadcasters across both North and South America to help further grow Onetag’s supply-side footprint in the market. You will have a strong desire to build your own revenue pipeline, independently running the complete sales cycle within your cohort of prospective clients and you will draw on a strong, existing network to start new conversations and grow new business.

You will have a strong understanding of both the publisher and the programmatic ecosystem with a desire to not only grow new revenue but to actively be in market with clients, advocating and defending Onetag’s unique position and point of differentiation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing team and to help influence and shape Onetag’s evolution and perception in this market.

What You’ll Do:

Working in an ad tech startup means that things often change and we adapt to the growing and changing needs of the business. We expect the below to be the bulk of the role, but this may change over time:

  • Lead the sell-side sales approach for the Tier 1 publishers, networks, broadcasters in your cohort or markets
  • Lead the business development approach to technical partnerships with those publishers
  • Work collaboratively with the other Publisher Development Manager to identify growth opportunities and to support each other
  • Work closely with the US customer success team to successfully onboard new clients and to ensure they grow and evolve into long-term customers
  • Run the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing business
  • Attend key industry events to evangelise Onetag, aim for regular in-person meetings with key existing and prospective partners and build a strong qualified pipeline of leads

Skills You’ll Have:

  • Experience of selling a programmatic solution into digital publishers for display advertising, video & CTV (ideally for an SSP)
  • Strong understanding of programmatic integrations via Pre Bid, Google OB, Amazon TAM
  • Good understanding of SPO strategies (supply path optimisation) & seller side audiences
  • Strong KPI & data driven methodology to sales
  • The ability to strategically balance cold calling and outreach with a more personalised and strategic approach where more appropriate
  • Hunger to take a test and learn
  • Proactive & focused approach
