Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, business or communications.
• 8+ years of experience in public relations or media relations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives.
• Strong command of AP Style and grammar.
• History of success in securing news media placements.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, including luxury lifestyle, business and aviation press.
• Secure high-profile media placements in top-tier New York-based and national publications.
• Secure local coverage in key markets.
• Arrange and manage media interviews, press conferences and exclusive media events.
• Guide senior leadership through broadcast appearances and provide feedback on segments aligned with company goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and with the European PR agency.
• Identify influencer partnerships and manage VIP influencer relationships to generate positive coverage.
• Prepare regular reports on media relations activities, results and recommendations for senior management.
