FedWriters, Inc. (FWI) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a high-visibility publications and communications program for the Federal Highway Administration.

Lead planning, staffing, budgeting, and delivery from concept to final release, ensuring on-time, on-budget performance across a diverse project portfolio. The role is hybrid, with two days on-site weekly at a client facility in McLean, VA or Washington, DC, plus travel for conferences.

Qualifikationen

• PMP-certified with proven project leadership experience.
• 10+ years managing multidisciplinary teams and marketing/communication programs.
• Experience producing technical publications and government/transportation content.

Aufgaben

• Management of a portfolio of complex, high-visibility publications and communications projects
• Strategic planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget performance across multiple concurrent projects
• Point of contact with government contracting and technical representatives, task managers, and researchers
• Oversee the production of materials ranging from one-page flyers to 300+ page technical reports, presentations, video, and social media content
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team of writers, editors, designers, and web and multimedia specialists
• Manage risk, quality control, and performance metrics, and deliver regular progress reporting to government stakeholders
• Ensure project status is tracked accurately in the client's submission and tracking system
