Job summary

FedWriters, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to oversee a busy publications and communications program for a federal client.

You will manage planning, staffing, and delivery of technical publications, marketing materials, and multimedia from concept to release, ensuring on-time, on-budget performance across a diverse portfolio. The role requires PMP certification and 10+ years of leadership in marketing/communications, with experience in highway or surface transportation programs.

Qualifications

• Active PMP certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing/Communications, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams and management of marketing/communications programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing production of technical publications, from short-form materials to long-form technical reports.
• Experience supporting highway or surface transportation programs or clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex, high-visibility publications and communications projects.
• Coordinate strategic planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and budget performance across concurrent projects.
• Serve as main point of contact with government contracting and technical representatives.
• Oversee production of materials from flyers to 300+ page reports, plus multimedia content.
• Supervise writers, editors, designers, and web/multimedia specialists.
